Voyag3r are getting ready to embark on their 3rd film score! The Detroit synth / progressive / rock trio have signed on to score the upcoming horror/slasher film My Blade Is Your Salvation, written and directed by James Dean (Fountaine and the Vengeful Nun Who Wouldn’t Die, XXX-Mas and Absolution).

Detective Sullivan is hot on the trail of a serial killer driven by a twisted sense of righteousness, using warped religious convictions to justify his brutal attacks. A new single from Voyag3r, entitled Slaughter Into Space, is out now! Stream it on your platform of choice. This track is the finale cue to the film Movie Theater Massacre which hits Streaming and VOD this Tuesday, February 4.

Movie Theater Massacre, written and directed by Ian Courtney, is a horror/comedy that was filmed entirely at the historic Redford Theater in Redford, MI. Filming took place during the Covid pandemic. The cast includes Jalen Wilson-Nelem, Adam DeFilippi, Caitlin Cavannaugh, LeJon Woods and Linnea Quigley.

Tagline: A group of employees are working their last week at a movie theater that is going out of business when a mysterious figure begins to murder people.

Movie Theater Massacre
Jake, Wily, Rachel, Val, & Dan are employees at a movie theater. They enjoy working somewhere where they have the opportunity to discuss their favorite subject: movies. But the building’s owner, Harold, plans to sell off the property since moviegoing is dwindling and doesn’t seem profitable anymore. Then, random people start disappearing, while simultaneously, strange, and unexplainable things begin happening. Will they live to see another movie?

Director Biography – Ian Courtney
Ian Courtney has been involved in the Detroit film community for over twenty years. He started out by working at a Blockbuster Video, then worked at a Landmark Theater for five years. He did internships at the Allied film advertising agency and the independent film school, The Detroit Film Center. He was a film critic for Real Detroit for two years. He attended film classes at Oakland Community College, the Detroit Film Center, Wayne State University and The Motion Picture Institute. He then worked on fifteen feature film productions as a crew member that ranged from $200 thousand to $120 million. His feature film debut, MOVIE THEATER MASSACRE, is currently making its way through the festival circuit.
